"Be who you ought to be and you will set the world on fire! -St. Catherine of Sienna

Julia Cameron says:
"Remember, there is a creative energy that wants to express itself through you.
Don't judge the work or yourself.
You can sort it out later
Let God work through you."
          and
"So we pray.  Fame will come to some.  Honor will visit all who work.  As artists, we experience the fact that 'God is in the details.'  Making our art, we make artful lives.  Making our art, we meet firsthand the hand of our Creator."

These words of Julia are in the 10th anniversary edition introduction of The Artist's Way.  Starting Monday, we will begin the general introduction while everyone is able to get the book.
If you are getting this website this week of July 26, please become a follower here with your picture and post a response so I know it's working properly.

"The primary imagination I hold to be the Living Power" -Samuel Taylor Coleridge

Julia Cameron, the author of The Artist's Way tells us, in her book's introduction "I have seen (creative) blocks dissolved and lives transformed by the simple process of engaging the Great Creator in discovering and recovering our creative powers.

Felician Heart of Art

Today we begin our new website for the Art Circle of Hope.  As requested, I hope you are all getting your book to read as a group, The Artist's Way, a Spiritual Path to Creativity by Julia Cameron.  It is a step by step program that will lead us to a higher creativity in whatever you do and, for those of you who are artists and feel "blocked" from creating, this is an immense help to you.  I look forward to our journey!  This website, called a "blog", an area where we can do an offline chat, is for our creative discussions around this book.  Happy reading and creating!!!
